If you submitted, thank you. Building something real with an emerging standard in a little over a week takes focus, and you did it. We are glad you were part of the WebMCP Challenge!
Submissions are closed.
⛔ Do not change anything. This is the important part.
Not your video. Not your repo. Not your live site.
From the official rules:
"Once the Submission Period has ended, you may not make any changes or alterations to your Submission."
"The Entrant must make the Project available free of charge and without any restriction, for testing, evaluation and use by the Sponsor, Administrator and Judges until the Judging Period ends."
The Project "must function as depicted in the video and/or expressed in the text description."
Judging runs until September 21st at 5:00 PM PT. Your live URL needs to stay up, your repo needs to stay public, and both need to work exactly as you presented them until then. A commit, a redeploy, a broken link, or a site taken offline can put your eligibility at risk.
If you want to keep building, and you should, fork your repo into a separate copy under your own account and work there. Deploy that version to a different URL. Leave the submitted version untouched.
What happens next
- We will open the project gallery soon, so you can see what everyone built 👀
- Judging runs September 4th through September 21st
- Winners will be announced on or around September 23rd at 2:00 PM PT
In the meantime, stick around in the OpenAI Discord. WebMCP is still early and the spec is public, so the best thing you can do with what you learned is keep using it.
Questions about the results or the process? Post in the OpenAI Discord or the Discussion Board.
